• Camera footage: Video recordings and live stream data from cameras you connect to the Service

• Device and camera metadata: Camera names, stream URLs, and configuration settings you provide

4. Data Storage and Security

Access to saved footage is restricted to your account and authorized media links. Storage encryption and transport security depend on the storage provider, camera protocol, network, and deployment configuration. CamBackup processes footage on the server, so this is not end-to-end encrypted storage. No system is completely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Cancelling a subscription stops future paid cloud recording; it does not itself delete saved footage. Saved recordings follow the configured recording retention policy and can be deleted using the available dashboard controls. For account closure or personal-data requests, please contact us.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service providers: Cloud infrastructure, payment processors, and email delivery services — only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service
• Legal authorities: Where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CamBackup or others

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of your data directly from your account dashboard. To exercise additional rights or submit a data request, please contact us.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the Service.

9. Children's Privacy
